We’re going to be talking about two different recipes – one to get you high and one to keep you calm. Both of these are effective for medical uses.
How to Make Marijuana Tea that Gets you High
- High Fat Milk (Full Milk)
- Coconut Oil
- Tea (your preference)
Now that you have all of your ingredients, let’s start with how to make a marijuana tea.
The first thing you’ll need to do is to decarb your weed. To decarb your weed, simply grind it up and place it on an oven-ready tray. Preheat your oven to 170º F and place your ground weed in the oven for about fifteen minutes.
Quickly remove your cannabis.
Now, place some coconut oil on the stove and melt it down. Then, add in your cannabis and mix it. Keep stirring for about 20 minutes. The more cannabis you use compared to the amount of coconut oil will determine the potency of the infusion. We recommend you experiment.
Once you’ve gone through the process of mixing it all together, quickly remove the plant matter from the mixture by straining it through a cheesecloth.
Separate your cannabis infusion.
Start making the tea by taking 50% water and 50% Full Milk and boiling it on the stove. Add in about 2-3 tea bags of your choice and let it simmer for a while. After about 10 minutes, remove the tea bags and take a spoon or two of coconut oil infusion and throw it into the mix.
Finally, add some cinnamon to the mix for flavouring.
Serve and drink.
How to Make Marijuana Tea that Won’t get you high
The next recipe is actually much simpler because you won’t be decarbing the weed. Rather, you’ll follow the exact same steps as the previous recipe without decarbing the weed.
The only difference is that you’ll be using 30% water and 70% Whole Milk. The cannabis infusion will still occur, yet the vast majority of the THC will remain in its acid form. You will, however, ingest plenty of other cannabinoids found within the marijuana plant.
